OnSite Rail, a specialist UK rail sector contractor is thrilled to announce that they have scooped the award for Renovation Large Project at the UK Society of Trenchless Technology (UKSTT) Awards 2024.

Paul Tomlin, Senior Project Manager, and Tomasz Dojnikowski, Assistant Project Manager, attended the UKSTT Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony in Warwickshire on Wednesday 2 October and accepted the award alongside shared winner, Clancy Group.

The award proudly recognises the team’s work installing UV lining on the Thames Water Critical Assets scheme for HS2. The lining works were completed during the HS2 tunnelling works to stabilise the sewer and mitigate sewer failure from predicted ground settlement.

This win follows their recent accolade of National Subcontractor of the Year which they scooped at Clancy’s regional standdown and awards event in July for their work on the same project.

Paul commented: “We are thrilled that our involvement in the HS2 project is continuing to receive such positive recognition. We are proud to be part of a high-profile project such as HS2 and thank Clancy Docwra for the opportunity to deliver our expertise to this successful scheme.”

OnSite Rail was also delighted to be shortlisted in the Renovation Small Project category alongside Thames Water, for their CCTV surveying and repair works on the St. Pancras Sewer rehabilitation project.
