OnSite Central, one of the UK’s leading providers of specialist drainage, pipeline and civil engineering services and part of South Staffordshire Plc, is excited to be delivering some innovative projects with its client Severn Trent Water (STW).

OnSite has recently delivered seven projects to meet STW regulatory commitments. Working closely with STW’s Delivery Business Lead, Kashan Ratyal and his team, overall project costs have been reduced significantly with schemes being delivered 40% faster using the newly established Batch X Direct Delivery Model.

Project feasibility, design, executing a contract, delivery, commissioning, and handover, using the Direct Delivery Model has streamlined the entire process, reducing the overall program and costs of a project.

This is an industry first and a change within the water sector using this model, where savings are identified and delivered through this innovative delivery process.

Ady Brown, general manager of OnSite’s Contracting Services division, commented: “We are pleased to be working alongside Kashan and his team to drive forward this exciting new delivery model.  A change in the industry is required if we are truly going to make an impact in bringing about greater efficiencies and the Batch X delivery model capitalizes on this.”

Kashan Ratyal for Severn Trent Water commented: “Collaborating closely with our supply chain partners has unlocked significant efficiencies and helped embed a new approach to our smaller value schemes, delivering excellent value for our customers. Our direct delivery approach is just the beginning, and I’m excited to see how much we can streamline the end-to-end process through design digitalisation, standardisation, and plug-and-play solutions.”
