OnSite has successfully installed another new sewer following the completion of a recent housing development in Yeovil.

OnSite (in partnership with Active Tunnelling,) was able to deliver a solution combining open cut and guided auger installation of 70m, of 225mm diameter clay jacking pipe.

This challenging bore, with minimal falls, required an accurate setup and clinical auger operation. The downstream manhole was located in a residential cul-de-sac and its depth was only 1.7m. To add to the complexity, the bore needed to navigate a major A-road and join into the existing sewer network. Tight project constraints, like the new sewer having to fit existing levels of the upstream and downstream sewer systems, meant there was little margin for error. 

The project was delivered on time, on budget and with minimal disruption to the highway and local residents. OnSite received a number of written compliments from both the residents and the client for their professionalism, politeness and high quality of the works.
