SSI Services run the annual Robert Harley Awards
Robert Harley was the founder of what is now SSI Services and was a Director of South Staffordshire Plc. for many years. Unfortunately, Robert died in August 2009 – his philosophy of management was to focus on commercial achievement but to never forget how important employee wellbeing is.
The Robert Harley Award for Excellence is given every year in Robert’s memory, recognising the success of individuals or teams within SSI Services.
Nominations have been judged on:
· Exceeding expectations
· Doing the right thing in the right way
· Looking after employee wellbeing and safety
Individual Winner – Mark Hunt – OnSite
Mark is one of the business’s outstanding talents. Winning this award for a variety of achievements this year such as showing entrepreneurial talent with growing out ‘wet civils offering’, orchestrating over a million pounds worth of waterways project throughout the pandemic, great leadership and commercial performance.
Mark receives £500 to celebrate, a trophy, plus £500 to donate to a charity of his choice.
