OnSite is working alongside the Canal & River Trust to repair a hole in the bottom of the Shropshire Union Canal near Audlem. After inspection, it was established that a section of the culvert by Bridge 80 had collapsed under the canal and required replacement.
OnSite installed its temporary dam solution, PortaDam, to allow temporary access to the canal bed and work will commence shortly. This is a safe solution for engineers with a low impact on the environment. Works are due to be completed by Easter.
